Dear families and friends of AISPP –We are sure that everyone had a marvelous Chinese New Year weekend, as the children came to school excited for it to begin, and happy after so much good food and family time when they returned to school on Monday! We are very hopeful that next year we can have our students performing and celebrating as we have done in the past. We miss these community opportunities. We are excited to be hosting our Council of International School (CIS) Virtual Visit in this next week. I appreciate very much the time and effort that our whole team has put into making our school a great place for learning and working. Thank you to the parents who volunteered to help with their time and energy.I will share the outcome of this very important step in our educational journey as soon as I know officially from CIS. I feel sure that things will go smoothly for us to earn membership status. We had our first excursion of the 2020 – 2021 academic year today – the 9th and 10th grade students, with teacher chaperones of course, got to see a fantastic art display. Please be sure to ask them if they had fun and what they learned from the day. Enjoy your weekend with time to rejuvenate your body and spirit.Betsy Hanselmann, M. EdHead of School
